OWNER EXPECTATIONS
Savannah kittens are a highly intelligent, energetic breed who require a lot of attention and love to thrive. This page will help you know what to expect from your Savannah kitten and whether your family might be a good fit to own one of these gorgeous kittens. If you think you’re ready to reserve your Savannah kitten, let’s talk.

FILIAL GENERATION | PRICE RANGE |
---|---|
F1 Savannah kitten (one serval parent) | $14,500 – $18,000 |
F2 Savannah kitten (one serval grandparent) | $5,500 – $8,500 |
F6 Savannah kitten (one serval great-great-great-great-grandparent) | $2,500-$3,500 |
There are many different number and letter variations to classify Savannah cats. As per TICA, at Social Savannahs, we differentiate lineage using the “F” factor. All our Savannah kittens for sale are classified with an “F” and a number to indicate how many generations the kitten is from its serval ancestor. For example, Social Savannahs specializes in F1 and F2 kittens and occasionally an F6 SBT litter.
Pricing for Savannah cats is linked to the “F” factor or filial generation. Kittens more closely related to serval cats are more expensive because of how difficult it is to mate a serval with a domesticated cat. However, factors like desirable color patterns or specific genetic combinations can also affect the price of each kitten. The table above will give you an idea of how much you can expect to spend on your chosen Savannah kitten.
NOTE: Included in agreed upon price, clients should expect to receive the following breeder absorbed costs/items:
- Up-to-date vaccinations and veterinary costs outlined in contract microchip (optional).
- Kitten diet starter kit of Royal Canin Mother/Babycat Kibble & Canned Food.
- Travel carrier (brand new, soft sherpa material, airline-approved)
- Full TICA documentation including registration and copies of parents’ pedigrees, geneaology, and DNA.
